EFT Supervision – A Place to Grow, Learn, and Feel Less Alone
If you’re an EFT therapist who sometimes leaves a session wondering
“What was the next step here?”
“Why did the process stall?”
“Am I doing this well enough — especially for certification?”
— you’re not alone.
Many thoughtful, dedicated therapists experience moments of uncertainty, self-doubt, or pressure along their EFT journey.
Supervision with me is a place where you don’t have to perform, prove, or already know the answer.
It’s a space to slow down, make sense of the process together, and grow with clarity, confidence, and connection.
EFT Supervision Grounded in Connection and Compassion
I am an ICEEFT-approved Supervisor-in-Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the approach developed by Sue Johnson and supported by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
As a Supervisor-in-Training, I offer supervision aligned with ICEEFT standards, values, and core competencies, with transparency about my training status.
My supervision is deeply rooted in the core values of EFT:
emotional safety
secure connection
clarity of process
and respect for the human behind the therapist role
You are welcome to bring your questions, uncertainties, stuck places — and your successes.
Supervision is not about getting it “right,” but about growing your capacity to stay present, attuned, and grounded in the model.
How I Work as a Supervisor
In supervision with me, you can expect:
A clear EFT frame, so you always know where you are in the model
A non-shaming, supportive atmosphere, especially when things feel messy or unclear
Attention to your nervous system as a therapist, not only the client’s
Honest, strength-based feedback that builds confidence rather than pressure
I believe therapists grow best when they feel safe enough to be real, curious, and human — not when they feel they have to impress or perform.
International & Online EFT Supervision
All supervision sessions take place online, allowing you to join from anywhere — without travel or additional time pressure.
With practices in Germany and Ontario, Canada, I offer supervision in English or German, depending on what feels most supportive for you and your work.
This international perspective, combined with online access and language choice, allows for a highly flexible and personalized supervision experience.
Why EFT Supervision Can Make a Real Difference
As EFT therapists, many of us recognize moments like these:
What’s the next step in the Tango right now?
How do I keep emotional depth without pushing the process?
How can I access primary emotion when things feel blocked?
How do I work with defenses while staying connected?
In supervision, we slow these moments down together.
We work with:
the EFT Tango
RISSSC principles
working with blocks and protective strategies
and moment-to-moment process decisions
The goal is not only technical clarity, but greater emotional presence, confidence, and trust in yourself as a therapist — so your own voice within the EFT model can emerge more fully.
EFT Supervision & ICEEFT Certification
All supervision hours count toward ICEEFT certification as an EFT couples therapist.
In supervision, you can:
Accumulate the hours required for certification
Focus on core EFT competencies (Tango, RISSSC, working with blocks)
Receive clear, supportive feedback on your interventions
Translate certification criteria into understandable, doable steps
Many supervisees come feeling pressure around certification — unsure about videos, worried about being “behind,” or afraid of making mistakes.
Supervision is a place to reduce that pressure, bring clarity, and keep the heart of EFT — connection — at the center of your learning.
Who This Supervision Is Also For
This supervision is also well suited for therapists who are early in their EFT journey and want to build confidence, clarity, and process safety from the start.
You do not need to be “advanced” to benefit from supervision.
For many therapists, supervision is especially supportive at the beginning — when EFT concepts are still settling and questions feel bigger than answers.

Fair and Flexible Pricing – So You Can Keep Growing
Supervision should be a place of growth and belonging - not financial stress. If you’re in a season where the regular fee feels out of reach, flexible rates may be available for colleagues who might otherwise be unable to participate in supervision or move forward in their EFT certification journey. My mission is that learning, and professional development remain accessible.
Supervision - as a place of belonging
I want supervision to be a place where you can say:
- I’m allowed to ask questions.
- I’m learning.
- I’m growing.
- And I’m not alone.
